Cocktail of the Week – The White Russian

by Sam Slaughter

August 28, 2019

If you’ve seen The Big Lebowksi, then you already know what a White Russian is. If not, never fear – The White Russian is a cocktail (which was based on another cocktail, The Black Russian) that’s been around for decades and is made from only three ingredients. With vodka, coffee liqueur, and cream, you can easily make a delicious beverage in less than a minute. Serve one up while at the bowling lanes or while you’re relaxing at home, dude.

  • 1.5 oz vodka
  •  .75 oz coffee liqueur (such as Kahlúa)
  • 1 oz cream

Method: Pour vodka and coffee liqueur into a rocks glass filled with a large cube of ice. Float cream on top and stir slowly.
