A guy in Connecticut posed as a fake cop over the summer, and he offered to clear someone's impaired driving charge in exchange for . . . beers and a shrimp cocktail.  That person reported him to the real cops, and he was just arrested for impersonating a police officer.

Crack pipe vending machines popped up in three towns on Long Island, New York a few weeks ago.  Now that people figured out what they are, they're freaking out.  And it's possible that whoever installed them could face criminal charges for selling drug paraphernalia.
