The 17th Annual Trooper Nicholson Blood Drive.

The 17th Annual Trooper Nicholson Blood Drive.

South Carolina State Trooper, Eric F. Nicholson was a loyal P1 and my friend. He loved the planet and often stopped by our studio in the middle of the night, while I was working. His death was a shock to all of us.   On December 6, 2000, Trooper Eric Nicholson was shot and killed while attempting to stop a bank robbery suspect.  Eric gave the “gift” of life at The Blood Connection’s Donation Center in Greenville. Two hours later he became the 41st South Carolina State Trooper to lose his life in the line of duty.

Please come out today to donate blood in memory of Eric.
