Slipknot Put Out Mysterious Casting Call

Fans think it has to do with upcoming anniversary

While we all patiently wait for that upcoming album from Slipknot, it seems as if the masked metallers are up to something that may make the waiting sting just a little bit less.

Corey Taylor and the rest of the guys posted a casting call for a mysterious music video on their Instagram account. Check it out:

Since the band doesn't have any new music out at the moment, most people think the call is regarding the re-release of their self-titled debut album for its upcoming 20th anniversary. The seminal Slipknot album got a Special Edition version on its 10th anniversary in 2009, making a 20th anniversary re-release seem highly probable for 2019.      

Earlier this month we told you about Slipknot re-releasing All Hope Is Gone to mark its 10th anniversary. Taylor also revealed that fans can expect new music from both Slipknot and Stone Sour in 2019 after this year this gem hit the Twitterverse earlier this year:
